Adrenaline in the Dunes – With Instructor, Gear & Buggy Ride

Looking to take your desert adventure to the next level? Join us for a professional sandboarding experience in the Huacachina dunes, guided by a certified instructor and equipped with high-quality gear — just like snowboarding, but on sand!

This tour is designed for adventure lovers, whether you’re a beginner looking to learn or an experienced rider ready to hit the tallest dunes in style. This tour is not private, but if you would like a private service, please inquire about prices.

Itinerary: 3.5 hours tour (afternoon at 14:30)

• Pick up from your hotel in Lima at 8:00 am (round-trip transfer in a private vehicle)
• Visit a local vineyard for lunch and to taste some wines and Pisco (a typical Peruvian drink) before reaching the dunes.meals not included
• 14:30 hrs: Time to test and select your equipment with the assistance of our instructors.
• 15:00 hrs – 16:00 hrs: We walk 10 minutes to a training area where you are going to have your first experience sliding on the dunes, testing the differences and similarities between snow and sand.
• 16:00 hrs – 18:00 hrs: The dunebuggy will give us a lift as we embark on our journey into the desert. Step by step, we work our way up to bigger and bigger dunes, getting dropped off at the summit of each one and then betting picked up at the bottom of the runs in the buggy. We eventually make it out to the biggest dune in the area. There we admire the breathtaking views of Ica, the desert with the Andes sprawled out in the distance, bathed in the light of the setting sun, before riding down.
• 18:00 hrs – 18:30 hrs: We head back to our school to share all the GoPro photos and videos that we took throughout the experience. There, we can start thinking about the après ski, age permitting of course¡ 
• At 19:00 PM we begin the return trip to Lima to drop you off at your hotel.
