Experience the thrill of Sandboarding and Sand Skiing in the spectacular dunes of Huacachina, Ica. Whether you’re an experienced snowboarder or skier looking to transfer your skills from snow to sand, or a complete beginner eager to learn, this adventure is designed for you.
Our professional instructors, with years of experience in snow sports and sandboarding, will teach you the correct techniques using a Snowboard methodology, making your learning experience safe, fun, and effective. Classes are available in English and Spanish.

If you already practice Snowboarding or Skiing, our instructors will help you adapt your technique to the sand with personalized guidance. If it’s your first time, don’t worry! You’ll receive step-by-step instruction in a safe and enjoyable environment.

8:00 hrs. Pick-up from your hotel in Lima .
13:00 hrs. time for lunch (not included)
14:15 hours. We arrived at the Huacachina oasis
14:30 hrs: Time to test and select your equipment with the assistance of our instructors.
15:00 hrs – 16:00 hrs: We walk 10 minutes to a training area where you are going to have your first experience sliding on the dunes, testing the differences and similarities between snow and sand.
16:00 hrs – 18:00 hrs: The dunebuggy will give us a lift as we embark on our journey into the desert. Step by step, we work our way up to bigger and bigger dunes, getting dropped off at the summit of each one and then betting picked up at the bottom of the runs in the buggy. We eventually make it out to the biggest dune in the area. There we admire the breathtaking views of Ica, the desert with the Andes sprawled out in the distance, bathed in the light of the setting sun, before riding down.
18:00 hrs – 18:30 hrs: We head back to our school to share all the GoPro photos and videos that we took throughout the experience. There, we can start thinking about the après ski, age permitting of course!
19:00 hrs. we begin the return to Lima.
